Well, that was a blowy day! It started out with a force six north-easterly on the nose as we came out of Tréguier and we had to motorsail into a very lumpy sea against the tide as neither gentlemen nor Odyssey go to windward in those conditions.
We then bore away once clear of all the offlying rocks and had a fast if rolly sail round the coast to Saint Quay Portrieux where we managed to get a nice easy hammerhead berth to be blown onto. Not sure how we’ll get off it tomorrow if this wind carries on though!
Jose is finally enjoying the large hunk of meat he’s been promising himself since we arrived in France and we’re both feeling a lot better after a couple of Kir Bretons. Nice view of the harbour too from a restaurant on the upper level at the marina.
