Having safely rounded Lizard Point there is now nothing between us and the Scilly Isles. Well, except for Wolf Rock which we’ll do our best to avoid.
We have the option to stop in Penzance or Newlyn but feel like pressing on through our second consecutive night at sea with the aim of arriving around dawn. There’s still no wind and the sea is like a mill pond which means we’ve made good progress under power and have had to slow down to 5 knots when we realised we’d arrive in darkness which isn’t ideal.
It really is gorgeous out here and I’m looking forward to another star-filled night at sea!
