Our first post-lockdown holiday of 2020 was a two-week sailing trip on Odyssey. We started by setting off west down the English Channel, travelling non-stop for 38 hours from Poole to the Isles of Scilly.
After a couple of days exploring the delightful archipelago we set off again and sailed overnight to North Brittany where we spent a very happy week pottering along the coast, revisiting favourite old haunts and exploring places new to us.
Finally we hopped back over the Channel to Studland Bay, one of our favourite anchorages and a welcome relief after a blowy crossing.
640 miles, 14 days, 6 islands, 5 French ports, 4 secluded anchorages, 3 night passages, 2 sunny beach days and a quarter of a tank of fuel. Truly an epic adventure and we loved every minute of it!
